House 2 Homes

Your one stop place to shop for all your home ownership needs

Why I’m Called Houses2Homes…

Followers of my blog houses2homes.blog may wonder why I’ve chosen this name for the blog. The answer is simply that I am in the business of transforming houses into homes I can use my skills as a general contractor when I listed a property to help offset the cost of repairs needed to sell a property. When I am the listing broker preparing a home for sales is a top priority.

As a Real Estate broker, I sell and help clients purchase properties. However, before I received my real estate license, I was (and still am) a licensed general contractor in California. Because of this, I look at a property differently. I see potential in properties that others may not see. I’ve worked with an architect for years. After the market crash of 2008, I rethought what I was doing. I came up with a different business model. This model caused me to go to college. I graduated from California State University San Bernardino. I am a lifetime member of Beta Gamma Sigma. But the heart of my business is that I am a service provider. I want to help people.

I don’t care about your race (that is a politically correct term that I do not like because we are all of the same race, the human race. I prefer the term ethnicity), color, religion, sex, gender, marital status, disability, genetic information, national origin, source of income, Veteran or military status, ancestry, citizenship, primary language or immigration status. I am a service provider for people. If we band together and help one another, we will all rise together. But in doing so, sometimes it takes time. Sometimes, I have to work with clients to help them get to where they can safely purchase a property, which we can work on jointly to transform into a home for them. There is not an answer which fits everyone’s situation. There are many get rich quick scams which have made some people good incomes but I do not intend to make money from taking you. I will earn my income through hard work.

I want to understand my clients and learn what they need. Then, I can better help them obtain their property. Purchasing a property takes much work. It is constantly changing. There are government processes that can help first-time homebuyers. Some of them take months to complete. Some teach financial literacy. Some have negative past experiences they have to work through. The property purchasing process can be highly frustrating, but it is rewarding when a family achieves home ownership. It is worth the extra time to get it right. There are logical alternatives, which do not include purchasing a new home.

I do not believe in the cookie-cutter housing projects. I believe in catering to an individual’s needs. I understand that our needs or demands from our homes change as time passes. You can have the home of your dreams today, which will adapt into the home you’ll needs tomorrow. If I help people understand the value of home ownership and put these different people together in the same neighborhoods, they will develop friendships, communicate, and design ideas to improve their standings in life. When this happens, they may create tomorrow’s garage companies, which change the world. I use modern technologies for existing houses and improve our carbon footprint. This increases the neighborhoods property values while also, creating a more extensive tax base for the local authorities to work with strengthening their communities. Below are simplified charts to show how it works.

For years purchasing or owning a home built prior to 1978 held negative stigmatism. The federal government has declared all these homes are lead contaminated. This act has cause the cost of working on these properties to increase drastically. I have a system which I have developed which helps homeowners with this problem. Once the proper inspection is passed and there is no lead contamination found in the house the paperwork frees the house from the lead burden. The Unit can be remodeled as need be to fit the new owner’s lifestyle.

The following is a quote from one of my term papers written for one of my degrees.

Showpiece Property Improvements is a socially conscience company seeking rundown high carbon-foot print properties. We have the skills, craftsmanship, technology, and authority to completely dismantle these structures to their bare minimum and replace them with a customized home for our clients.

Building to set tomorrow’s standards, using these properties permits us to do so at substantial savings to our client. In so doing, we’ve helped our clients by allowing them to obtain a home built with the ability to adapt to the growing needs, which life will place on them. In so doing, we help the local community by removing something which depreciated the local housing market and replace it with a home which adds value to the local community. S. P. I. purchases its materials through local venders to select products which showcase their craftsmanship while strengthening the local community. Thus, they help the individual in acquiring a home built for them. They do not build track housing; they build custom homes. They do not flip houses; their homes are built with their client’s needs in mind. At Showpiece Property Improvements, the bottom line isn’t, “the greatest profit.” We believe in bottom up economics. By helping those first-time home-owners, we believe we all will rise together. Showpiece Property Improvements employs local industry experts to assist in completing the projects, enabling them to adapt the company to the needs of an individual, instead of forcing the individual to adapt to a cookie-cutter house demands.

If you are open to an alternative of purchasing an older house and having it adapted to meet the need of your lifestyle today, thus saving the cost of hooking it to the infrastructure:
