Other have said that wisdom is knowledge, I personally believe that wisdom is the proper application of knowledge.  It is one thing to know what is right, however it’s another to act upon what we know to be right.

Wisdom can be gained by watching others who act wisely. It can be achieved through study and discernment. However, I also believe that wisdom is best seen in our questions not our answers.

There are those who act wisely out of fear of not doing so. There are those who act wisely because that is the way they were taught to act.

There are those who act wisely because they have taken the time and trouble to question all known alternatives to them and have chosen wisdom’s course.

Which of these do you believe to be the wisest?

When I finish my projects, I take the time to walk them and make sketches and notes on what I think I could do next time to improve the project. Sometime I do get the opportunity to build them again, however, there is something about putting things down on paper which help me remember them longer and more accurately. This simple act calls upon me to question my decisions. Sometime they stand but sometimes I chose a different path. Often the situations present themselves in other projects and I have already worked out the wisest path so there is no questioning needed. It becomes a simple choice.  Do I wish to act wisely or doo I choose to follow the road of others? The pathway of wisdom isn’t crowded and there is room for all who choose to travel its course.
