Your one stop place to shop for all your home ownership needs

ASK, and Say Thank You

This may sound a little over simplifies, but it does work. When you’ve been on the project and you’re nearing it completion hopefully you have established a good trusting relationship. So, if you want your client to recommend you to the circle of influence then Ask them if they would be willing to do so.  When they say yes ask them if they would like some of your business card and other printed brochures.

If you have noticed that your client has been snapping photos, ask if they would put them in a file and email you a copy. Everyone sees thing from their personal perspective and You may learn so things from theirs. When they agree to do so ask if you can use them to promote your services. When they say yes have them sign that you have their permission to do so.

When the project if finished and throughout the project when they do something to help or acknowledge you be sure to thank them. I find that a hand written letter speaks volumes to many home owners and they will show your letter to friend and family when they talk about the way you preformed on their project.

These may sound simple but many forget to do this and the magic words still work. Please and thank you will help you win new clients.
